Has any translated the advert?
My French is non existant

The shpiel reads as such in colloquial English:
The PPSh-41 (Pistol Pulemjot Shpagina; model 1941) is a Soviet sub machine-gun used during the Second World War. It was adopted in 1942, and gave the "shock troops" of the Red Army impressive fire-power. Maintenance is extremely simple due to its' 4 main parts, and it is equipped with both "Semi" and "Full Auto". Comes with a 71 round magazine and all PPSh-41s will have a real wood stock. This item is exclusive to Soft Air, so order/reserve yours now!

Looks doubtfull you'll see it before the end of January. More likely to be February/March. The site this add came from is well known for showing items months before they actually become available. they did the same with the MG42 and look what happened to that. Most factories don't seem to be going into full production until they come back after the Chinese New Year.

*groans* Please don't let's see a rash of "Ostfront veterans" in German uniform...... I know it's tempting and I will also be purchasing one if only to keep the WWII Airsoft collection current - but keep some discipline and use German weapons when doing German and bring out the Shpagin when doing Soviet....... In 2010 I can see every German re-enactment display being overrun with pipe smoking "Alte Haasen" toting Ostfront captured Peh-Peh-Shes...... I will then tut loudly, roll me eyes and issue forth a hearty yet scornfull guffaw!

LOOK! I ham now four meggle man!

for me personally, if i had a ppsh41 , it would only be used on ostfront events.

i was buying an mp 40 to use if my g41 goes down at The Boryszyn Loop game, but as im now doing a soviet loadout, i simply must have a ppsh as soon as their availible.

i was tempted by a mosin springer on wolf armouries but it cost more than a tanaka, and ive never seen a review of one

Considering that Kroots mob post war look is intended to be generic post WW2 banana republic commie rebels, it could be worth it. The russin look for me is on hold, there seemed to be only the padded winter kit at the Angles sale, and we thought that would likely be too warm for regular UK use.

Though I'm sure I will get more milage from an MP40 or a Sten.

To the tune of "Mademoiselle from Armentières"

Napoleons army ran away, As you do
The guard stood firm for Frances Pride, As you do
They said the guard will stand and die
But we heard what their Colonel cried
It wasn't pretty I tell you.

I am told that site has a habit of advertising thing up to 6 months before they are on sale, also that above picture is just a computer mock up not real.
So we are still waiting to see even a prototype PPSH-41 made in China so it may be June 2010 before you see one.
